Backlit Bluebells + Bokeh

Backlit Bluebells and Bokeh by Jason Swain. I used ‘Shallow Depth Of Field’ (f/2.8 which is as wide as the lens goes) and positioned myself in the right place for some backlighting to create this image of some lovely wild bluebells in my back garden in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight. Shot with the Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens on a Canon 6d camera body.

Exif Data = f/2.8 at 1/400 iso100

I definitely go through seasonal phases with my photography, and the beginning of summer (well in name at least if not because of much actual sunshine so far in this one) will often find me crawling around in the undergrowth with a macro lens on the camera looking for light and bokeh and little moments of beauty.
